Cerea is the right hand of Sarath-Narok. With Sarath-Narok's power, she controlled the Draconians; a race of corrupt Dragons who ravaged the worlds with their defiling magic and destroyed civilizations if not for anything more than mere entertainment. With all the power of a demon Goddess of corruption at her fingertips, she can summon the Draconians on a whim from any place at any time. Her magical power knows no bounds, and will ultimately destroy Cerea because the power she wields is too great for a mortal.

Once her magic consumes her, Cerea's spirit is summoned from the nether realm and is placed within the body of a dead Draconian. She is awakened and is forced to live out the rest of her eternal undeath within the body of those whom were enslaved by Sarath-Narok, forced to destroy and kill and witness the pennacle of destruction from the forefront of the legion of Dragons. Once Cerea understands that all she had ever lived for was nothing but evil and chaos, she leaves the Draconians and sets out to redeem herself by any means she possibly can ... even if it means ultimately destroying the one whom she so loyally served.

Edit: There were certian things that started to bother me about this picture. I gave the dragon scales and adjiusted the shading a bit. fun fun.

Sketch of the dragon in my sketchbook and alterations in photoshop - 10 minutes
Flames in photoshop and tweaked slightly in oCv2 - 30 minutes

was certainly worth the time, this is freaking awesome Aqua o.o *gives her a high five and many cookies*

I think I just like the dragon and the character more, the sinster, dangerous look and body language of them both is awesome and the coloring just enhances it

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful, the posing is excellent. There is a sense of power and awe about this image, as well as a sense of defiance in Cerea's stance. I love how the dragon seems to be emerging out of the fire itself. The fire is done wonderfully well and the casted light creates a wonderful light source for the entire picture. I especially like how you have the light reflecting off of Cerea's boots and skin. The forshortening of the dragon's muzzle and sweeping shadows along it's head and neck is beautifully done! I love the folding of the wings and the powerful muscular structure of wings and body of the dragon. I love those penatrating eyes! A stunning job working with so much red, which can be a very overpowering color at times to use. I love the outfit design and the sweeping of her hair, the detail and cording of her hair is beautiful and the movement not only of her hair but her outfit creates a nice focal piece to move your eye around the image. I love her penatrating gaze it is reflected in the eyes of the dragon so well, though instead of the awe and chaos that the dragon's eyes seem to inspire, there is a strenght of spirit.

I love the story, the concept is really unique. I think that this image really emphasises the story that you have created.
