I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!  I got to see family and friends whom I love and miss very much, and spend lots of time with them.  After the stress of finals and school and other personal issues, it was a much needed break from the unpleasantries of everyday life.  We've gotten a lot of cold weather and snow this year which is odd because Tennessee is usually so warm in December you can almost wear shorts with no problem. Graphics card finally decided it was time to die on me the other day.  I'd been having trouble with it for the past year but the manufacturer was good about sending replacements.  I got thre

I just celebrated my ninth anniversary with Chris.  I can hardly believe we've been together for that long. <3 It's coming up on the end of the semester.  It's been rough and stressful, and I'm looking forward to a much-needed break from the routine of school.  Next semester will be much more difficult and, while I have a bunch of classes I'm eager to get into, I'm not looking forward to how busy I'm going to be. I am, however, eager to do more art.  And the break will be conducive to just that.  Well, if I can pull myself away from video games long enough. Christmas is coming up, and I'm looking forward to spending time in the company

Thanks for voting if you did.  I never know if anyone does that because nobody ever comments and says, "I voted!"  I appreciate your silent support. It's been in the upper 90's with some regularity for the past month-and-a-half.  It's ridiculously unpleasant, and the lack of rain just makes it worse.  Grass cracks underfoot and the trees are losing their leaves prematurely to conserve moisture.  So, it's roasting here.  And everything's dying because of the heat.  Not a very pleasant summer at all.
